Refund policy


All sales are final and we do not offer refunds.

Defective or damaged products notified in writing within three(3) days of receipt are either replaced or repaired. See terms for replacements, repairs or warranties below 

Replacements 

Our sales are final, and we do not provide replacements for products with slight variations in appearance. Replacements are only issued for items that are defective or damaged upon receipt.

Products valued over USD 4000 (such as Private Collection, Limited Edition, Customized Products) are considered final sale items and are not eligible for replacements. See Repairs terms below.

To request a replacement, email us at enquiry@mahajati.com. Include a picture of the damaged product at the time of receipt via email (enquiry@mahajati.com) or WhatsApp (+65 82233536) within three days of receipt. We will also need photos of unboxing as a pre-requisite for replacement from our insurance company for those damage resulting from transportation. Await further instructions.

We will then organize for pick-up of the damage item or request you to dispose it with disposal proofs to be submitted to us. Additionally, we require a receipt or proof of purchase to process your replacement.

The time it takes for your replacement product to reach you may vary based on your location.

Warranties

We shall provide warranty against manufacturing defects on products for a period of one(1) year from your date of purchase. Due to the nature of our handmade products, any claims pertaining to woodgrain, color tonality, minor natural wood cracks and/or carving imperfections will not be covered by this warranty. Products priced at or under USD2000 shall be replaced as per our terms for replacement above. Products priced above USD2000 shall be covered by terms for repair below.

This warranty shall not apply to damages caused by poor mishandling or improper use by the consumer.

Repairs

Due to the exclusivity and rarity of our art, not all items can be reproduced, therefore a repair work will be carried out whenever necessary.

To be eligible for repair of damages incurred due to shipping, send us a picture of the damaged product via email (enquiry@mahajati.com) or WhatsApp (+65 82233536) within 3 days of receipt and await further instructions.

To be eligible repair of products under warranty, send us a picture of the damaged product along with its associated dated receipt via email (enquiry@mahajati.com) or WhatsApp (+65 82233536), and await further instructions.

Depending on the specific product, we will either:

(1) hire a professional to repair the product on site, at no cost while still under warranty.

(2) reimburse your repair costs for repair, provided the repair quotation has been approved prior to commencement of work and we will need to receive proof of payment for repair.
